Our clinical staff consists of Physicians, PhD’s, LMHC’s and Physical therapy/professionals skilled in co occurring disorders and founded in behavioral science. Every treatment plan is carefully crafted for each individual patient. We are an interdisciplinary group and our treatment strategies consider multiple aspects that help us to support the whole person.
Ron Horn MD
MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Dr Horn is the medical director of Pain Management Options LLC. He has over 35 years experience in internal medicine. His credentials include the American Board of Family Practice, American Society of Addiction Medicine, American Academy of Guided Imagery and the American Academy of Medical Acupuncturists. Dr Horn has practiced a Biopsychosocial model of treatment for more than 15 years. Dr Horn’s extensive background in non addictive pain management along with his demonstrated communications skills has helped hundreds of patients regain their independence. Our interdisciplinary team interacts with Dr Horn to establish the best treatment plan to treat the whole person.
Michael Schiesser MD
Board Certified in Addiction Medicine. Dr. Schiesser's primary training is in Internal Medicine, and has been assisting patients with the diagnosis and management of pain disorders since the completion of his residency training in 1997 at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle.
Dr. Schiesser is a 1994 Graduate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine. In 2005, he obtained advanced certification to manage opiate dependence with Buprenorphine, and Dr. Schiesser is currently the President of the State Chapter of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Schiesser is a frequent lecturer regionally and nationally on issues of Pain Management, Opioid Dependence, and Medication Safety.
Douglas Uyeda MPT
DIRECTOR OF PHYSICAL THERAPY
Doug has extensive experience in outpatient rehabilitation, chronic pain management and treating orthopedic injuries. Most recently, he worked with several large employers as an onsite ergonomic consultant and physical therapist. He successfully educated employees and employers on proper safety techniques, body mechanics and possible jobsite modifications. From acute care to chronic injuries, he has a very diverse background and has excelled at working on a multitude of complex and challenging cases. He enjoys building and fostering relationships with his patients and seeing their improvements. Doug is a current member of the American College of Sports Medicine, The Occupational Injury Rehabilitation Society, The APTA and the US Judo Inc. Sports Medicine Sub-Committee. He has also been a passionate community volunteer for numerous organizations since 1985.
